In March 2019, Mr Cao Guanhui, the company’s chairman, gave an exclusive interview to his hometown’s television station, in which he spoke at length about the company’s corporate culture and the technical highlights of its products. He explained how, amidst fierce competition in the new energy vehicle sector, the company had managed to stand out from its many rivals and successfully establish strategic partnerships with most of the country’s leading automotive manufacturers. He recounted the journey of an ambitious young man who, harbouring a ‘dream of the automotive industry’, used his youth as a brush and his ideals as ink to paint a blueprint for his aspirations with passion—progressing from the design of children’s vehicles to the research and development of new energy vehicle components in just over a decade.
