Oswell Co., Ltd.’s New Energy Vehicle Electric Drive System Headquarters Base Project is located in Zhuji City, Zhejiang Province, with a fixed-asset investment of 2.94 billion yuan. The project possesses in-house R&D capabilities for core components, individual electric drive products and the full range of powertrain systems, alongside comprehensive technical reserves and manufacturing capabilities. It will establish a headquarters base integrating production, R&D, operations and sales, whilst expanding production capacity for electric drive systems and developing an industrial cluster centred on the new energy vehicle sector, encompassing autonomous driving, automotive-grade semiconductors and upstream supporting industries for electric drive systems. Production will include drive and control systems, three-in-one powertrain units (combining motor, electronic control unit and gearbox), and multi-in-one system assemblies. Once full production capacity is achieved, the annual output value is projected to reach 3 billion yuan.

Recently, Zhuji News reported on the progress of Oswell Co., Ltd.’s new energy vehicle electric drive system headquarters base project.

All ten individual buildings in the first phase of construction—including production halls, laboratories, staff accommodation and office blocks—have reached the topping-out stage and have now entered the finishing phase; production is expected to commence in the second half of 2024.
