Seven years ago, Zhejiang Oswell Electric Technology Co., Ltd. set sail with the founding vision of ‘walking hand in hand with China’s new energy revolution’. From breaking the foreign monopoly on integrated electric drive technology in 2018 to joining the ranks of Hangzhou’s pre-unicorn enterprises in 2022; from achieving a breakthrough in production capacity in 2023 and serving global automotive manufacturers, to realising a leap in patent numbers by 2025—through seven years of dedicated effort, Oswell Co., Ltd. has consistently wielded innovation as its cutting edge, leaving a distinct mark of Chinese smart manufacturing in the field of new energy vehicle components.

As 2025 enters a critical phase of policy deepening, China’s new energy vehicle industry is approaching a pivotal turning point. New policies on purchase tax relief are stimulating an upgrade in new energy vehicle consumption, whilst fierce market competition has made optimising vehicle energy consumption and enhancing drive system efficiency core imperatives for automakers; carbon neutrality targets are compelling the entire industry chain to establish green manufacturing systems, with carbon footprint management shifting from a voluntary initiative to a regulatory requirement; Amid the global wave of supply chain restructuring, the domestic substitution of key components such as power semiconductors has risen to the level of industrial security. Faced with these three major challenges of the era, Oswell Co., Ltd. will embark on a new chapter in the second half of 2025 through a combination of ‘strategic action and systematic planning’.
Focusing on breakthroughs in the core performance of electric drive systems, we will accelerate the R&D process for a new generation of highly integrated platforms. Through multi-physics field co-optimisation, we will achieve a synergistic leap in both system efficiency and power density; by focusing on intelligent thermal management technology, we will improve power output stability in low-temperature environments and durability under high-temperature operating conditions, providing fundamental technical support for vehicle manufacturers to meet stringent energy consumption standards, and helping partners strike a critical balance between range competition and cost control.
We are launching a low-carbon factory upgrade to establish a dual-driven system centred on green design and circular recycling. We are prioritising the large-scale application of recycled metal materials and refining closed-loop processes ranging from raw material recovery to component remanufacturing; establishing standards for the large-scale application of recycled metal materials to boost the recycling rate of key component materials; and building a carbon footprint management mechanism covering the entire product lifecycle, coordinating with the supply chain to reduce carbon emissions and laying a solid foundation for sustainable development.

We are deepening strategic collaboration within the domestic semiconductor industry to accelerate the process of domestic substitution for key components. We are strengthening technical cooperation links with universities and research institutions, focusing on tackling common technical challenges such as enhancing the reliability of drive systems and the application of new materials.
In response to the trend of intelligent connected technologies penetrating deeply into the vehicle motion control domain, Oswell Co., Ltd. has proactively laid the groundwork for ‘integrated drive and intelligent control technology’, exploring deep synergy in vehicle motion control; optimising algorithms for the coordinated control of multiple actuators to enhance system response accuracy under complex operating conditions.
Seven years have passed, yet our original aspirations remain as firm as a rock; as the tide of the times surges, our mission rests upon our shoulders. In the second half of 2025, Oswell Co., Ltd. will take three major strategic initiatives as its fulcrum, joining hands with industry partners: reshaping the core value of drive systems through ultimate energy efficiency, helping China’s new energy vehicle industry scale the global technological heights; fulfilling our commitment to green development through zero-carbon smart manufacturing, and composing a new chapter in industry characterised by harmony between humanity and nature; harnessing the explosive energy of innovation through an open ecosystem, and jointly building a Great Wall of supply chains that is autonomous and controllable.
