Recently, Cao Guanhui, Chairman of Zhejiang Oswell Electric Technology Co., Ltd., stated in an interview with Zhuji News that the company is accelerating the full transfer of its industrial operations to Zhuji. As a national-level high-tech enterprise, a “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” (SED) company, and a near-unicorn enterprise, Oswell Co., Ltd.’s fully automated production line for core components of new energy vehicle drive motors in Zhuji has entered the high-efficiency debugging phase. The line achieves fully unmanned operations throughout the entire process—from ingredient mixing to material feeding—revolutionizing traditional manufacturing models and significantly enhancing production efficiency and product consistency.
Zhejiang Oswell Electric Technology Co., Ltd. is currently a preferred supplier to Geely Automobile and has established stable partnerships with major automakers such as Wuling, Chery, Changan, and Dongfeng, while actively expanding its client base to include emerging companies like Huawei and Xiaomi. In overseas markets, the company has established a presence in France, Russia, Vietnam, and other regions, and is expected to enter the U.S. market and integrate into Tesla’s supply chain by 2025.
The first phase of the New Energy Vehicle Electric Drive System Headquarters Base Project, with a total investment of 1.268 billion yuan, has been selected as a major industrial project in Zhejiang Province. Covering an area of 115.7 mu, the project will establish an industrial cluster encompassing autonomous driving, automotive-grade semiconductors, and upstream support for electric drive systems.
Chairman Cao expressed special gratitude to the Zhuji Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for their efficient and trustworthy business environment, noting that the project went from initial contact to implementation in just over two months, with all policy commitments fully fulfilled. The company has now entered the shareholding restructuring phase and plans to complete its relocation by March 2026. It is fully committed to achieving its annual sales target of “at least 1.5 billion yuan, aiming for 2 billion yuan,” thereby injecting strong momentum into the development of new-quality productive forces.
